Help your students become familiar with investing

Investing by buying shares in businesses is one way of growing money to help build financial security. Help students understand and deepen their knowledge around the considerations when it comes to investing and managing the associated risks with our investment resources. 

The content is designed to be used flexibly and can be used as standalone pieces; however, we recommend that if your students are new to investing you work through each resource in the sequence below to build on prior sessions and deepen learning.

Through class discussions and interactive learning, including an animation, case studies and a board game, students will be introduced to investing and understand it’s not something just for the wealthy and that it can help people achieve life goals. They will also develop their financial literacy and critical decision-making skills, and their ability to make informed decisions by recognising the risks involved with investing.
